    Bhadra Maruti Temple, Khuldabad: This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the monkey god. The Bhadra Maruti Temple also enjoys the reputation of being the only Hanuman temple with the deity in reclining or sleeping position. The temple is just 6 km away from the Grishneswar Temple.

    Bhadra Maruti temple is one of the important places of worship in Khuldabad, Aurangabad. Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, it is visited by devotees as well as tourists. Lord’s idol inside the temple is of Lord Hanuman in a sleeping posture. It is one among the three temples where the idol of Lord Hanuman is found in sleeping posture; the other two temples are located in Allahabad and Madhya Pradesh. Every year the holy site is flocked by a number of Hanuman devotees from all across the country majorly during Ram Navmi and Hanuman Jayanti. Legends say that, in ancient times, Khuldabad was renowned to be Bhadravati and was ruled by a ruler named Bhadrasena who was a strong devotee of Lord Ram. Once, when Bhadrasena was lost in singing the bhajans of Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman arrived at his place listening his songs. Lord Hanuman was so happy that he silently took a sleeping pose- a yogic posture called as Bhavya Samadhi. After finishing the song, when Bhadrasena saw Lord in resting posture, he asked him to bless the site with his presence.

    Owing to such beliefs, the place is highly pious for both Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman devotees. The temple is put-up with white marbles. Though the Bhadra Maruti temple is open on all days, but special rituals are performed on Saturdays. En route to this sacred shrine you may also visit the major attractions of Maharashtra including tomb of Aurangazeb, Ellora Caves and Grishneshwar temple. Khuldabad is just 32km away from Aurangabad.     Shuli Bhanjan is a hill near Aurangabad, Maharashtra City on the way to Ellora Caves. This place is situated near Daulatabad fort and is accessible by road. The height is about 400 feet (exact not known). Eknath Maharaj is believed to have carried his 'Tapyasya' at this very location travelling daily by foot from Daulatabad fort where he was employed. It seems there was an underground passage from Devgiri fort to this place which Eknath Maharaj would take. 'Datta' have showered blessings on Eknath Maharaj on the exact location where the Datta Mandir is located. At Shuli Bhanjan one can enjoy a cool breeze all round the year and is rapidly developing as one of the picnic spots. Aurangabad Nasik highway can be seen from Shuli bhanjan. The place is also known for the first meeting of Eknath Maharaj & Janardan Swami.It is the most peaceful place for meditation
